The renovated National Art Gallery opened its doors to visitors with a renewed permanent exposition on Thursday. The exposition includes masterpiences of renowned Bulgarian artists such as Zahari Zograf, Stanislav Dospevski, Nikolay Pavlovich, Ivan Markvichka, Anton Mitov, Ivan Angelov, Vladimir Dimitrov-Maistora, Zlatyu Boyadzhiev, Ivan nenov, Dechko Uzunov and others.

It is organised in a chronological order, with art works encompassing the period from the beginning of the XIX century to the 1950s. Some of the works have not been shown to the public for years.
